I found Facebook very interesting and potentially powerful. I need to spend a great deal of time in it to fully realize the potential. My organization blocks Facebook so I will not use at work although I see applications for it.
I particularly ponder the use in communicating with the younger generation. I think we much look at using such technology to connect with youth since it is their method of communication.
Linkedin is also most interesing. I will spend some more time in it as I am recruiting for a position.
Personally, the jury is still out for me. Since I spend all day on a computer, I try to spend a mimimal amount of time on one at work. I can see potential for my family to stay in touch but they spend less time on a computer. I can see it much more useful for me personally when I retire.
