These applications are way beyond what I will use in my library. I found a couple of mashups that were interesting personally. I saw a map that had infectious disease outbreaks with links to news coverage. Just happend to click on one in Charlotte -- where I live. That was cool. I didn't know about the incident.
I looked at the librarian privacy postings. I'm sorry but sometimes I think librarians use the anonymity of the web to whine. I scanned some of the postings and found myself frustrated.
I did not find this week particularly useful for me today. But it's always good to know what's out there.
